Today we will be learning what Democracy is and what democracy means to Americans today. We will try to answer the question: How had Democracy changed throughout history?
In the Google Classroom, open up Obama's Election Day Speech Transcript. Follow along on the transcript as you listen to the speech here. As you follow along, highlight any important parts of his speech. When you are finished answer the questions in the Democracy Questions doc.
Day Two (Wednesday)
Now that we better understand what Democracy in America is, we are going to look back and examine how Democracy was started in America. We will try to answer the question: How did the Constitution shape our Democracy today?

Day six (Tuesday- election day)
Today you all will have a chance to vote, but before we do we will spend time looking at how the voting process works.
